Some more company

I had two good friends from the US come visit me recently......not to forget that Rachel B. and my sister came to visit me earlier this year. :) We had a great time and stayed incredibly busy. I only missed one full day of school in that 10 day time frame - not bad.

Mandi and I tried to give Sandy and Andy the biggest taste of Switzerland that we could..... hopefully we succeeded! We traveled all over the country, ate some "true Swiss" dishes, and took a ton of pictures. So, I figure that's the best way to show where we went and what we did.

Enjoy.

Welcome to Gruyere Castle (Chateau de Gruyere) - it's my favorite castle here.

Inside the Knight's Hall and the 4 of us in front of the valley.

We went to Zermat for part of the weekend and got a good view of the Matterhorn (a famous mountain - not the ride at Disney) and hiked down a bit from another Alp.

The Matterhorn under cloud cover and us having a true Swiss dinner at the restaurant.

It was the biggest party weekend in Neuchatel the weekend they were here - for the grape harvest time. The city was covered in confetti and there were food booths and vendors everywhere, it was quite the experience to walk through!

I made fondue for Sandy and Andy one night because you can't come to Switzerland without having fondue!

Bonne semaine! (Have a good week!)

Ooo, what fun! You all had a blast! Well, I think it's still not too late to do it again with me when you need a break from Cameroon sometime, right? :>) Good.
